Great to see you boys yesterday. 5 and a half hours on a Friday evening is about right with the traffic :(

Also great to see HGT too. It's truly an amazingly beautiful car inside and out. It has to be seen to be believed. I'm not kidding.

:)

Thanks

I'm still in Manchester but when I get home, I need to find a direction to go on, what to do first ??

Mechanical I think to do initially, get it running well then onto body and interior etc.

Nice Sportline Chris, if turns out anything like your other one it'll be stunning. Once you get the bay done there will not be much left to do by the looks of it.

Thanks a lot

It does need brought back to life with time, effort and some cash and a bit of paint tbh.

It might even get a full respray ?????

Just depends on the mechanicals first and what it needs to make it spot on that way, hopefully not too much.

ha ha, love the fact the urge to get the eyebrow off meant it didn even get back to Scotland with it on :-)

Think a respray could be a great shout, thats the one thing you didnt do with the red one, so you could have perfect paint on the black one ;-)

looks like a great base mate, slow and steady wins the race! be nice to see how this moves on bit by bit

cant wait to see the garage pick !

Right, I just spent 5 hrs on it.

Washed, quick clay bar and SRP after and it comes up a treat. It was soooo grubby, the metal was white smeared.

Changed the side indicator back to orange, changed the steering wheel to a better condition one and straightened it, Hella stickers on the spots, magnatax, fixed the rear window inner and outer seal as it was sitting terrible.

Cleared out the boot and all is well, needs a proper clean and lots of stereo cabling removed.

Put my leather handbrake cover on. Put my Sebrings on it as the originals need refurbed.

Chris I was almost looking to buy a new one the weekend,I was doing a clutch for my next door neighbour she has a mx5 59 plate she ist in her late 70s and she losing it anyway cut a long story,me and her other half was pushing the car around to mine while she was steering I ask her to put the car on the top of my drive as my drive as a slope, she did Not brake and my sportline was out and she was not stoping so I run in front of the car shouting stop.she ended up smashing into my fence smashing the concrete post and two fence panels.it was only a few feet away from my sportline it would have been a total loss.the mazda now needs clutch, wing, bonnet ,front bumper :P now I need to fix the fence and the hole car.
