Keep up the good work Chris. By the way do you happen to have a spare strut top cap?
I didn't bother with a spread sheet. I just left all my receipts in a pile in the garage. My wife thinks there must be some missing to which I replied "of course not dear".

First Golf, lots of work. I've started so I'll finish!

Just got the side trims from CQ's for the Sportline but not amused as they are narrow ones, nothing like the originals !!!
They will be getting sent back on Monday for a refund.
What's disappointing is the description on their website not stating the difference.
I contacted them and they might change the wording now but not the happiest bunny :-(
So what's the best way to tart my originals up ??
Spray them ??

Cars in the garage until Monday.
Its solid underneath and the only thing was a missing C clamp for the exhaust.
They still have to change the manifold gasket, change the oil and filter and starter motor but its all good :-)

Well the garage phoned and much as expected and told to me by the previous owner, the car needs a new manifold and front downpipe.
So new gaskets ordered and funk-star is sending me the manifold, downpipe, sealing ring and 2 clamps.
So once they arrive I can get them down to the garage for fitting.
