Yeah unfortunately I went to football last night and working until 11 tonight so not been able to go up the bodyshop. I'm guessing that most the welding should be done by now.

I'll go up tomorrow night.

Bit more of an update but the welding isn't complete. They've finished the sides and attached the rear valance but need to finish welding that on and then do the front panel and wings.

Friday afternoon:

New Sill:

Rear arch repairs:

I went up to visit today hoping it had been done. It's not, but were getting there.

Boot floor repair (will be smoothed out so it looks like it hasn't been repaired):

Chassis leg and towing eye repairs:

Rear valance in place:

Inside shot of the boot floor:

Won't be able to get up there tomorrow as I'm working late but I will go up Thursday and expect it to be on its feet with all the welding done. Can't wait to see it in primer now.

Thanks for looking!

whats it looking like with the primer mate ?!

Still not in primer. I went up this afternoon and they are doing the final bits of filling/sanding/prepping.

Thursday Update:

Started on the engine bay and beating out the chassis legs as the last person to weld on a front panel did it very badly and didn't bother getting them straight before putting it on.

Front panel and wing offered up.

Todays update:

So they've finished the majority of welding and starting to fill and prep the car for primer and then paint.

Scuttle panel smoothed.

Engine bay prep

Rubbing down the smoothed boot.

Final filling on the boot floor to hide the welds.

Smoothing of the suspension turret repairs.

Smooth boot taking shape.

So, they say it should be getting sprayed tomorrow but I'm going to guess it'll be primered tomorrow and sprayed Wednesday.

Starting to get a bit worried coz I'm gonna have to get off my ar$e again soon and start building it back up. On the other hand it's quite exciting and I can't wait to see it looking all shiny :)

Really happy with the colour. It seems to shine with a tint of green. Can't wait to get it out in the sunshine!

He's just got a few bits to finish off including undercoating the underneath and fitting the kit but I'm so happy with the finish :D

Still waiting for it to be transported back from the workshop. Unfortunately the transport company Im using have a contract with RAC and AA so they get priority and I work during the day so it's a bit difficult arranging it. I cleared a space in the garage and did a dump run:

And here she is up on stands having the underneath coated with the rubberized black gunk to seal it up:

Hoping it comes back later today…..
