This is how is was 4 years ago be fore i pulled it apart
start of the strip down
some new panel where needed
time to lay some paint down i think
time for the engine to going back in after it make over
time to start fitting every think back on to her now fun time ahead
polished all me door locks and catches
old headlining out new one going in
air ride time now
made 8V cam top cover fit 16V head look so much better than the plastic one that come on them
after iv put all this work in to putting the engine in this iv have now just pulled it out to stick an TDI pd lump in it and the 2.0 16V on 45 is now being drop in to another mk1 golf i got this i put a build up on that another time but here a little taster on of it so far not done much to it yet other than lower it and wheels and now new engine
engine had a repaint as well
thanks for looking i put more pic up once i pull me finger out to put pd lump in and the 16V in the other mk1

Great pics.
May I ask you a few questions:
How much did it cost to import? What was your budget to refurb it?

Fully agree with the 16v timing cover too, plastic ones looks boring.
