AGU
Had my mk1 caddy just over a year now after pulling it out the back of someone's garden and mainly been working on the bodywork to tidy it up, I have got to the stage were i want to do a engine conversion. I did a little bit of research and most people say the mk4 golf 1.8t AGU was a good easy conversion so the other day I went and brought one, little bit high on the mileage at 160k but has plenty of service history and was only £500 for the whole car which I thought wasn't to bad. Anyway just wanted to make a list up of parts I will need i.e tank/fuel pump, radiator/intercooler, brakes!?, I am sure many people on here have done this type of conversion and would really imprecate any help/guidance on what parts I need to change and basically what I need to do. This is my first engine swap. Thanks

Theres a few builds that have done the AGU in this section, and one guide in the modifications section for 1.8t

Think it depends on what you have to start with too, whats your current engine and setup?
