On the other hand my exhaust is also only 2.25", but I don't think it will make a huge difference, lets see on the dyno
If you want your lambda/Maf adaption to work in your ECU your need to mount your two front lambdas, one in each bank/connector, NOT like Eurowise did in the same spot. I had alot of issues with mine, going in limb mode all the time because of this…
What gaspedal are you using? mine need the one connected to the floor and I struggle a bit to see how to fit it nicely…

Thanks for the heads up about the lambdas. So you're saying the pre cat and post cat lambda's don't work well one in front of the other like this?Hummel said
I totally ignored the size difference og the mk4 to the mk5 connectors, thats good to know, and I think I will port mine as well On the other hand my exhaust is also only 2.25", but I don't think it will make a huge difference, lets see on the dyno If you want your lambda/Maf adaption to work in your ECU your need to mount your two front lambdas, one in each bank/connector, NOT like Eurowise did in the same spot. This is how I mounted my mk5 pedals. Used some 3mm stainless steel and made brackets like this.

Regarding your exhaust, you have 4 lambdas in total, 2 pre cat and 2 post, ditch the 2 post ones and write does out of the ECU, the 2 pre-cat are the ones controlling fuel, they regulate 3 cylinders each so they need only exhaust fumes from 3 cylinders otherwise they cannot regulate.. .Make sense?
I welded in two lambda thread just below the connection, one in each side.. But i don't have any photos srry..

Thanks for the pictures of the pedal mate! I will try to let the ECU accept the other type pedal, so it can be mounted hanging, otherwise i will make something like that, but offcurse mount the pedals in the left side of the car

Yes that makes perfect sense about the lambda's. I have some stainless lambda bungs I can weld in like this:

Nice expansion tank, mine is from an Alfa and mounted beside the air intake for the cabin
I also did the SAI delete, just with a homemade bracket.
And I also removed the Aux. waterpump. But I like that you don't I was focused on removing as much as possible…

Ace, I'll get that sorted. Seems a bit of a major design flaw by Eurowise I lucked out on the expansion tank. Someone on ebay had several custom made and this was the last one. I have a 135 degree alloy bend on order to join the SAI outlet on the back of the block to the expansion tank. Will be a nice short runHummel said
Yes that would work Just make sure their is room for the sensors when the exhaust is fitted in the car Nice expansion tank, mine is from an Alfa and mounted beside the air intake for the cabin I also did the SAI delete, just with a homemade bracket.

I was umming and ahing about getting rid of the aux water pump but thought it didn't take up much room and cools the car on ignition offs so can't be a bad thing

Yes, when i figured out the problem, I contacted them to let them know, I was the first one raising this issue, apparently all others just run i limb mode But i believe they will change their design…

Nice one, sounds like a clean coolant system! I assume you don't run coolant to the heater inside? I need that so my car have a bit more coolant hoses

Yes no water fed heater, I'm going to run a BMW E36 electric heater. I'm still not sure whether I should re attach the scuttle and run the original heater matrix.
To be honest heat wasn't an issue when my car had the G60 engine, the heat was radiating through the bulkhead. It was fapping hot all the time ha ha
I'm going to give it a go when it's done and if it annoys me I'll weld it back together. I have kept the cut out for the fan hole and scuttle so nothing that can't be put right again.

What do you do about radiator hoses to engine? Could be nice with two hoses that would fit perfectly.
I tried to weld some in alu piping, but I would rather have two hoses ?

Funny you should mention that. I was looking at radiator hoses last night.
One of the hoses I'm really tied down with which is the aux coolant pump which feeds in to the thermostat housing like this:
I believe that is for the top hose.
Re the other hose I have some alloy unions and bends and silicone hose but would like a continuous section ideally.
Eurowise sell the hoses for the conversion but they are pretty pricey and then with shipping astronomical!

Iv swapped my thermostate housing for a 12v version as the hoses ill use from S&P will paralell to the S&P radiator 😉
Ahh, didn't know the termostathousing where swapable That could also be an option to get the piping parallel..

Do you work for S&P
Good idea though, I would need to replace my alloy housing which would be a shame.

Getting there and made a tiny repair where there was a scratch in the plastic
