I prefer bacon  O_o

Cars at the garage and should get it back tomorrow.

Service, timing belt, gaskets and tracking.

A wee stamp in the book to prove work done and jobs a good un :-)

Will def need to do the gear linkage through the winter as its way to sloppy  :o

My mk4 that's going to my son for his 1st car early next year, is going in the garage when I pick the GX up as the brakes feel weird ?

They will keep it for a week and when I drop my Sportline of to the garage next Friday, I can drive away in the mk4, result BUT 3 garage bills to pay in 8 days  :(

So picked the GX up and its healthy. The only thing that needs done is the coolant which I am obviously changing when I do the full coolant system change.

Both sump and rocker rubber gaskets fitted, new rocker, chromed straps and chromed nuts put on.

Fan belt changed.

Timing belt and tensioner done.

Full service carried out and full inspection.

I think I will replace the sump when the car goes back for its mot in October.

Great you've stuck with this.

Where you getting your paint quote Chris?
Brian at the Hawes Garage will do a brilliant job for you.

Hi

I use Hawes garage for all 3 of my VW's and get great service and prices from them but I don't think I would use Brian unless u know better ?

I was going to go to a restorer in East Lothian called PrestigeCarBodies and get a quote.

Do u recommend anyone ?

Chris

I've know Brian through football for over 17 years. He's a top bloke. And everyone I've known who have used him have always said he has delivered a very very good job. You should maybe speak to him and tell him what you want. He's a genuine guy.
