Love that last one, even if he did use a sponge and a chammy.

So entered the car into The Scottish Car Shows Top 50 stand on the 19th of July at Ingilston outside Edinburgh.

Never thought it would stand a chance of being in the Top 50 against Scotland's best cars from all classes, Yank, classic, retro,  Jap, Supercars, modded etc but it got into the Top 50 👍👍👍

Well chuffed and proud of being in such amazing company 🆒

No idea on what prizes are available but who knows 😊

So it's the Top 50 stand at The Scottish Car Show this Sunday.

So I'm going to take the wheels off and detail inside the wheel arches and rear axle etc as well as the exterior and interior.

Just bought some Solution Finish trim restorer which I have read great things about on Detailing forums, so will do the front grill with that.

Hopefully the wee car will go down well.

The small VW accessories all matter.

Back to the " Do I sell dilemma "

Cannot settle this year with cars, if I do sell then I won't replace it either.

It's getting towards the end of the 'classic car season' so not probably the best time to sell, unless you have a project for someone to work on over the winter, which you obviously don't.

If you don't need the space, use it for another couple if months, wrap it up for the Winter and decide next spring when you unwrap it. Won't be worth any less than it is now.

Your a perfectionist and will need something in your life to replace it with, might as well be the best 5Dr MK1 there is,

It's really got nothing to do with the car or space or anything to be honest, I don't think I would replace it if I did sell it.

I'm just having a funny year.

New job but not just a new employer, a completely new career.

I would be tempted to keep it till next year mate, it not getting in your way, you don't need to free up the cash and its a minter, which you might wish you had not and then if it goes.

You are usually pretty decisive with car stuff, this year does seem a bit unlike you
