Saw my very first Porsche Macan Turbo yesterday in Perth the lady driver took no notice of me but her toy boy in the driving seat fair eyed up the Golf, or was it me?

Was taking my Golf to be tucked up for winter in a friends nice heated garage.

Have not driven her since I fixed the front suspension and put on a strut brace in October what a transformation. I am now counting down the days to next April.

If you sell I think you will regret it. Knowing the condition of both cars I know I would.

It will be a shame if you leave the MK1 'fold' Chris, it's nice having you around.

That said if you have an itch elsewhere you want to scratch, do it! You can only do what's right for you and you've only got one stab at this 'life' malarkey so do it

personaly if i get the itch to sell, i will do as il dwell too much on it being the wrong choice to keep it.

try it with an ever so slightly optimistic price to weed out the timewasters and see who actually wants them, theyre best left as they are to me, especially this one.

Well even if I sell it the NOS very expensive tailgate chrome trim arrived from Germany.

Glad you've decided to keep both motors Chris. Having looked over your Sportline and the S1, I'd say you have the best of both worlds - lucky man

So a wee sign firstly that sums me up perfectly, then the garages shut up for the winter with the insulated doors, thermal curtains, fleeces along the bottom of the doors, central heating, dehumidifiers, fleece blankets to keep them cosy, trickle chargers on and tank safe in the fuel tanks.

I must tuck mine up for the winter on Thursday Chris even with the damage.

But wait till you see my 'Man Cave'.
We are talking 5 star cave, photos to follow over next weekend!    

Must say I envy you Chris, jealous just a little (well ok big time) and hate you to hell and all at the same time!       

But I love your dedication mate, honestly.    
Puts me to shame.

Couple of new purchases.

Spare GLS badge with refurb sticker from funk.

Also just bought the final missing piece which I get in the morning, black rear panel insert that goes between the lights under the number plate.

I don't like them so probably won't fit it but it's there for the next owner.

So picked up the rear black plastic panel and it's in great condition, just needs a good clean.

Cleaning done, the underside was just covered in black silicone shi*

Came up perfect

Rear spare badge arrived for refurb.

Where do you find all these awesome good condition parts?!
