They are definitely become more rare and sought after. I got my through a Sportline register member.

Best not tell the wife…  

I'm watching them now !!! Look good and they will be getting a retrim in series 1 tartan so worth sticking a bid on !!!

Just a sneak preview…

I got the car back home last last night. My seats front and back finished in original mars red cloth material to a very hight standard. The finish and look is superb. Delighted.  



I have a few more pics on my good camera to show them off - just not downloaded yet. Will do in the next few days…



I have approx two square meters of the mars red cloth left over from the trimmer - he reckons enough to do the seats again.  

I also got new floor mats front and back, a boot mat to cover the original mat, repair to my parcel shelf, new headlining and two mars red cushions.

Seats look fantastic m8. Did u just retain seat centres? What were seats out of to start with? Would love a set mine are grey stripes.

Very nice Hugh, they have done a brilliant job. I still think the Sportline seats were by far the best ones fitted to any Mk1

Well after seeing your results Hugh  i will be buying some material and having my seats re trimmed. I do not think i can get away with buying some recaros but some fresh cloth will brighten my old seats up.
