yep,weld and skim,ive had many heads welded and never had one come back on me,as long as its done right,unlucky mate,

been to the head place this morning and it's fixable

the head is getting a full overhall should be back tuesday

part just been ordered gotta collect at 1pm and that the seals to the head place

i feel a bit saw now spent all this money

Never ending lol, still it will be mint when you're done with it.
Might take you up on the offer fella, don't reckon it will be this side of the AGM to be fair, plus the weather been poor for painting..

How much is all this going to cost Jelly... The head etc...

been back to the head place to take him the seals he need out of the head set i have

he cracked tested it and it's all good. he will do it again once welded

all in all max mate it's £180 for the head and £150 for all the gaskets, bolts and new head bolts

mr unlucky at the minute

head is back from the shop and looking lovely, can hardly tell it's been welded

it's all built back up now with the manifolds, flanges

so tomorrow it's going back on the engine

wish me luck
