That looks nice that. Is it true though that if genuine tweed gets wet that it smells like wee??
I didn't know that… I just had to Google it lol …turns out they used to use urine to help dye the wool luckily they dont use it now days so should be fine
Thanks

Its a new revel kit….Mocked up with some scale wheels I had made for it
Engine painted
painted
Nearly finished just bumpers and trims
Anyway on to the fullsize one
Got the steeringwheel on
Few more bits turned up that I needed
Badges fitted
That passengers side chrome grill trim fitted
finaly found a plastic rain tray wasn't in the best condition but cleaned up well
On to the boot had to raise the floor up as the battery sticks up so made a batten frame up
Cut some ply
Made a back panel aswell so the boot looks neater as im not having a parcel shelf straight away
Trimmed them in some leatherette
Used the same clips that hold the boot panel on for the back pannel countersunk in so nice and tidy
Fitted them…. still need to make some new side boot panels and trim them the same though

First things first got the tyres off
Only to find the last person to refurb them had used tiger seal type stuff to seal them rather than silicone took ages cutting though it
After removing 36 bolts …and using a rubber hammer finally got the front lip off ,,,They are 3 piece wheels so should so the centre should come out of the barrel too but they have been stuck also no way to get to the glue… shame
Sanded and fillered them
Primed
Painted the backs with some silver I had left just to tidy them up abit
Centres painted
Lacquered them
On the the bit iv been looking forward too lol polishing the lips up
State of them befor
Had some kerbing so filed that out then sanded from 180 to 1200
Used a polishing kit to buff them up
Very pleased with them
Now iv just got 143 bolts to polish lol and can start putting them back together Thanks

first up got all the blots polished and the wheels put back together
Callipers where looking tatty so decided to colour code them
Next didn't want to cut holes in the door cards for speakers so made some mounts for some in the foot wells simply Velcro'ed to the carpet
lost all these pictures for making the rear boot panels wanted some more speakers as the front where abit tinny only being 4" so theirs actuly pioneer 5.25" speakers behind the rear boot panels the ply is drilled with lots of holes so the sound still comes through the material nice and discreet
and lastly finaly got the material for the seats should be being re trimmed in the next few weeks if I can get the money together
Getting the wheels on the car today so will get some more pics soon Thanks
