It's amazing what is behind some small rust bubbles :-(

A few before I picked her up today:

A few when I got her home and started to put her back together - just the arch spats to go on - should be ready for Early Editon on Sunday.

What a cracking looking job!. Any issues along the way or did you get exactly what you wanted? Such a minefield body repairs. I struggled to find many out there to be as good as they claim.
That engine will surely need a good blast out now won't it 😁

Lovely job, sits great. Do the wheels rub at all or are your arches rolled?

I've been impressed with the quality of workmanship from the start of this mini resto and it looks really good. You must be very pleased with the way it looks now, it certainly looks good from the photos! As daniboy123 says, it's a minefield finding someone who can really do bodywork to a high standard but you have defintitely found one there!
I hope to see it in the flesh at a meet this year (if I get to one ;))!

Only two issues really, the first was matching the paint and the second was finding it needed far more metal work than first thought. The body shop from six years ago put an arch on top of an arch and filled rusty metal :-( and the same people randonly added pearl/tint to Lhasa Green, the result is great but it was very hard to get a match!

Did they spend long polishing it afterwards? May I ask how much it cost to carry out all of the work?

Amazing looking paintwork.  Is the reflection shot how it sat straight outta the paint gun or have they flatted and polished it to that level?  Finish looks superb.

And your car looks awesome overall .
