On with a trial fitting, and they fit perfect. very very proud of the work.

Testing with some RM on 8.5J, so i had figure what lip have to order for the RF'. Next will be CAE shifter, pipe work and down pipe.

enjoy :D, did i told you that i am proud of my work ?! :)))))

meanwhile i just broke down the RF' for sandblasting and static paint. Blind luck hit me. They never been touch, the sealer was original, the bolts never touch!
Eny info on what torque shuld i use on the bolts when  tightening them?!

Started work on some turbofans for the RF' the mold look's outstanding, hope the end result will be the same. The mold is for a aluminium final use…so finger's cross for me!

Another steping stope is about to be  overdone.

The golf is now sent for pipe work/downpipe and exhaust fitting!

Keep you posted as soon as work get started on the welding :D

So….the car is back from the pipe work, this is what i came out with….

Donw pipe is 73 to 60mm all around… Intercooler pipes are 60mm  This week we gonna start the body work, fingher crossed!

Next step is sand blasting, body work and paint, the next three moth will be all sweat and tears!

That's a lot of wheel bolts to polish!! lol

The pipe work in the bay and exhaust looks excellent.

Liking the DUB number plate too  :thumbs:

I have just bought the 2 silencer version of the powersprint exhaust from HRT. Should arrive this week :)

Hopefully its not too loud :)

I don't know if it's loud or not because i didn't start the engine. I don't like loud exhaust, but the engine is turbocharged so should be silence

So… long time with no update, it's been a long month, boy work  is started the front end is done.
Sun roof porly done of, roll cage off, i rather die from accident them to have a rusted pipe inside me :)) (wiechers cage in on the way)

I will let thhe picture tell you the story!

Glad too see your still going strong with this. Arches look great. RFs are a great choice. I have them for my M3.

Because i hate after market parts because of their quality i did manage to fin a cabriolet body rust free…How they say someone's junk is another man's treasure :))) to bad i have to cut it !




MF inspecting the body that i just paid 100 Euros on it! :)))
