finally got one

after many hours of searching and lots of wasted time viewing rust buckets i have finally found a mk 1
picked up last weekend 72k on clock and hardly any rust just what i wanted just needs a bit of a tidy up paint and interior wise and a nice set of alloys ( ats classics )

Very nice looking. Would agree with keeping the steelies, could have a real nice sleeper look (with a vr6 under the bonnet)

the engine will stay for a while as its just had top end rebuild but a vr6 does sound nice

little update .

finally got around to getting spax coilovers fitted
and bbs lm all rubbered up and fitted after a quick polish obviously

i don't know if its ever had plastic arch covers to be honest mate if anyone knows would be great to know if it would have being an 1981 model
