Elv's Bought Not Built - The Wolf

Post

Bit of background about the purchase- The car was built by my friend Ian Clayton, who I've know and worked with for 17 years. He built the car in his garage over 3 years and I helped him out by selling him a scrap MK2 golf we had bought for £25 to cut the sunroof out of! When the bodywork was completed, the paintwork was done by one of my friends who specialises in TVR and Retro Classic repairs and restorations. After finishing the car, it's first outing was the AGM at Uttoxeter in 2011 where it came 3rd in Best Engine, having travelled 1 mile:cool:Ian very rarely used the car and having done less than 100 miles since the build, I asked for first refusal if he ever sold it. So, having sold out house earlier this year the timing was right when Ian said he wanted to sell, the deal was done and I picked it up on my birthday and MOT'd it that day:thumbs:Spec- 1.8 Turbo APX code Audi TT engine

I'd even be tempted down the modified route if I had the option of a purchase like that!

Love the car. I'd like a ride at some point too!!  :o

It's nice to see it again Elv, couldn't take my eyes off it at the AGM - I love it!

Have you uprated the rear springs to stop the wheel rub when you're on boost?

First few modifications since ownership! 15 inch Pirelli P's, found some locally that needed refurbishing and GTI front spoiler:) Got some pressed metal number plates to fit and some smoked indicators. Just a few things to make it my own:cool:
