Cheers Ross, yeah i'm loving being back in a mk1, its just so  much more fun with the added power!

Got a few bits to sort like the sensors, and I fixed a leak, where the water was dripping through the middle wiper hole and into the heater and then into the car. Apart from that I have just been enjoying it!

Next is seats re-trim, possible half cage and get it on some rollers and get my k star set up.

Well this moring was rubbish, was changing lanes when traffic slowed and I locked up, and ended up wedged under the tail lift of a transit :cry:





It looks worse than it is, it was a pretty slow crash, just the tail lift was rather solid :roll: So back in the garage and strip down the front end ready for the rebuild. Oh well guess I get to change the rubbish non gen wings

I need a bonnet, and wings, any one near Bristol?

Oh and out of 3 cars none roadworthy lol!

Yeah it could have been worse, the bonnet took most of the impact, under the bonnet is ok, just the rad got a bit rinsed, still drivable-ish, going to strip it down tonight and see whats what.

i live in fishponds but the bonnet is currently on feeder road, next to motion?

Going to get it back on the road soon, probs with ratty/dented wings etc, and primer, etc, while I sort out gen wings and paint.
