You may be MK1-less for a while Chris but at least you'll have a minter when it's back  ;)

I like the 'parking aid' idea, it means they get damaged, not you hopefully! On the up-side, trailer tent possibilities for next AGM  :thumbs:

like it hairy, i got the towbar a year ago, gott access to a trailer so will make life easier for agm.

The cars now in the body shop, hopefully back soon

so a little update, Yes i miss my baby, but its gonna be worth it

Big thanks to the bodyshop, Automagic Refinishing in Doncaster, doing a great job

so it appears that the car was in worse shape than i thought, i knew the top of the windscreen wasnt good as i had put a bit of filler in to what i thought was a bit of rust, the bodyshop found this

and then did this

to do this


coming on nicely  :thumbs:

well, been to see her this morning (namely cos i forgot to leave the fuel cap key) the car is in primer and was being wet flatted down, I should be getting her back this week, cant wait  :thumbs:  :thumbs:  :thumbs:  :thumbs:

yes mate, both bumpers, arches and skirts, they need a little work from scuffs (as when i got the car) the rear bumper irons are half rotton (the bit that fastens into the car) rest ok, have had to use the indicators for parts
