2,0 AGG conversion, G60 PG
Also wirebrushed the hood before paint.
The sealing has done its job, but 35 years has taken its toll. Removed all surface rust and sprayed it with rust primer.
Job well done - treated myself to a Monkey47 G&T this evening

Tackled the headlining - the sound deadening just fell apart - quite a messy job

This is something I've been meaning to do to my original bonnet for ages. It's great to see original panels reused.

The vehicle is actually getting painted at the paintshop of the local Volkswagen Dealership just outside of Copenhagen. Doesn't get more OEM than that
Color: LA3A Mars Red
Also got my new Cup Kit with Bilstein dampers, bump stops and Eibach springs. The old rubbish coilovers will be binned after 7 years of service.
The Eibach spring will lower approximately 35mm to 40mm - I am a bit worried that this will not be enough.
Really look forward to see this in the flesh
Also received clip kit from eBay for frontgrill and sidetrim.

It is quite a satisfying job - and not too terrible to do
I can only recommend it for some "winter therapy"
