Just another never ending money pit.
2 years ago I bought this car and posted a few pictures in here. I thought I could post updates on the project, but it turns out I suck at taking pictures and uploading them.
Well now I decided to give it a go, to share my journey with this project, and to get input from you guys.
Feel free to add a comment. First pictures is as I got the car. I'm living in Denmark, and got the car from Poland, where the car was used everyday and had just past MOT?, not sure is mot is the right name, the car had just past a yearly test to say it is allowed on the road. So I thought the project would be easy, well I was wrong.
For me It was important it was a 4dr version. It is very rare to see Mk1's with 5dr around here, and with a family it is much easier to get approval with the wife if the car has 4dr's

Here is some more pics. Obviously there was rust, but far more than I thought, thinking thius car was road legal in Poland, It wouldn't be in Denmark.

Well when the car is in the stand and can rotate and everything is disassembled, it was actually quite fun…

Made a simple bracket to bolt the front to the car in the right place. Painted every overlap and welded it up.

I needed gearbox, clutch, brakes etc. Decided to buy a complete passat vr6 and sell everything i didn't needed, turned out I got more out of parts than I payed for the car, so that was also Nice
Started on prefitted brake Servo and clutch servo.
