well got it back down on its wheels last week,
mk2 16v tensioner fitted and cambelt done
so decided to do a test fit of the engine ,
then started to think about fabricating the wilwood pedal box, so cut off the pedals off the mk1 steering column
thats as far as i got coz need to grab some steel and get a welder

Neil looks awesome, yeah I reckon you could mount that swirl pot in the accumulator position.
I bought a stainless accumulator bracket from CQ and used an original plastic swirl pot. Had to change the shape of the bracket as the swirl pot is square but yours will lend itself to the bracket as it's round.
You just need to make a bracket up to pull the fuel lines away from the rear axle.
