Hi guys,
Please find below the documentation of the rape of my wallet. I will do my best to provide as much photographic evidence of this long slow process. RIP wallet
After giving up my search for an honest series 1 and deciding to spend more time working on my late Mk1 GTi. My friend Simon (higher1), text me with a link to one on eBay (b*stard). After 4 or 5 days of calls and texts to the guy, a deposit was paid and a 9 hour round trip (which ended up being 12 hours) was arranged. Apon arrival I couldn't believe just how honest and original it is, plus it has loads of change over swallowtail goodies. Since getting it home I haven't had much time due to attending V-Dub Island last weeknd so all I've had time to do is wash it, and look at it, a lot.
Heres a couple of pics
The two I sold at V-dub Island to fund the yellow one.
Also would like to say a big thanks to Rob for letting me use huis shots. Check him out on Facebook and like his page.

Thanks guys. Yeah I love the colour too. I still have my Caddy which I was considering painting Chrome Yellow before this popped up. It's not perfect by any means. It's a perfect starting point though and has hardly any rust.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm so chuffed with it. Still don't have a uk reg for it yet so I can't even drive it before pulling it apart.
After that I'll be fitting all new rubbers with new chrome, new clear front and rear screens. I'm going try to straighten the bumpers a bit, save buy new ones straight away, not only that I like the headlight washers. I'm going to put my coilovers on it, but run it at almost standard height until I get some wheels sorted. Might even put my polished D90's on it, or maybe my BBS RA's. Who knows. I'm just going to enjoy every second of working on it.

Here she is in a couple of pics of our club camping area at V-dub Island.

Tomorrow she's going down to the paint shop to get a quote for a full respray. Might change the colour while it's in! Lolhigher1 said
