Iv had this mk1 since 2001, garaged it in 07/08 with gearbox stuck in 3rd, put spare gearbox on didn't realise about the 90/ 100mm drive flanges, so there she sat for 15 years, she turned 40 last December so iv registered her as historic, just need to get her running again, now I have her in garage where I live so every evening I can tinker, seems to have survived pretty well in my other garage 😀

Yer the style is interesting, wasn't sure I'd like it any more, but since digging it out I really like the look, super retro, was all done in early 90's
Now iv been under it alot in the last few weeks, I can't believe how well its survived,
Sills and under side are super solid, scuttle panel area really good
