1.8 carb auto to twin webbers ?

I want a bit more go out of my 1.8 carb auto.how would I go about it what carbs would I need and do I need anything else or will they just bolt on ? Am not to up to speed on playing with petrol motors more of a dirty diesels man normaly

Not having much luck in finding info out plenty on making a gti run webers but not a 18.carb being converted to run them grr

Bolting a pair of those on will produce very little extra power on their own (they need to be used as part of a package) but you will probably use much more petrol.

Any suggestions for me apart from changing the engine
