not much of an update as all my funds that i was going to use on the mk1 have been spent when my daily died which i use for work so i had to fork out for a new car .. as i do about 600 miles a week i decided to go for an old mans car … wait for it ….. an 05 plate SAAB 9-3 auto diesel :D haaa

with regards to the mk1 i have put it back on the orginal BBS and have decided to sell the porsche teledials. May regret it down the line but life goes on.

so if you know anyone interested send them my way.

heres some pictures from a little meet held by Zaino Europe in Hook.

also been looking at wheels already  :$ bwwn thinking about a set of image something like this

hopefully i can start saving some money again as id love to have the car ready for next years show season !!

Like your MK1, looks just low enough - nice stance. Agree on the new wheel choice

Reckon the rear wiper should go back to where VW intended though, looks like it's flopped down  :$  ;)

i have been busy rebuilding my engine and getting parts sent away for cleaning/refacing etc …

my block is all painted yp and so is my rocker cover.

my head (which i now know has been ported and polished) in the past is off getting pressure tested as i write this so hopefully its good news when they ring

also painted and refurbed my twin 40 DCOE webers :D and managed to find some where that did the inlet manifold so i picked that up instantly.

heres  couple of pictures of what i have done over the lasr coupe of days

painted up my gearbox as welll

Bodywork doesn't look too bad mate tbh. When is she going in for the work to be done?

its mainly the arches they are knackered from the plastic GTI ones that come on the car.

and hopefully the next few weeks
