Need to find a distributor

mk1 golf with mk2 1.8 16v kr engine conversion needs an angled distributor!

Hello!

I'm new to this so forgive me if i'm posting this in the classified section or something daft like that!

Ok, I've bought a mk1 golf that's had a kr 1.8 16v mk2 golf engine installed in it. I'm having a brake servo re-fitted and i now need the right angled distributor to fit. I've been sent this link but can't find the distributor anyway and need one to progress and get the car back on the road

Anyway advice would be appriciated!

Oli

Sounds like you want an abf (mk3 16v) dizzy cap dude.

Have to rotate the dizzy 180* but that's no issue.

Can run a Kr dizzy cap with a servo in though, albeit its tight but its runnable.

We fitted a Peugot 205 GTI cap that has angled spouts, it has holes in it but the clips on the original dizzy are really tight and has been fine for 2 years. Hope this helps ;)

I've got the same problem too Chipster. Where can you find leads that go from the 205 gti cap to the mk2 16v engine?
