Mk1 Golf GTI 1.6 Wiring

Hi Im not shure if this is how it works, but I am in need of a wiring loom for my 1983 golf GTI.
Would all so ask if its possible to get a hold of a loom that has all ready been labeled, have all most finished mi project and have stumbled onto the wiring which is in such a mess that i've been told would be easier to start from scratch can anyone help.?
