Post

Looking for mk1 Cabrio boot side trim panels for hydraulic hood.
I have a pair of boot side panels but they must be for non hydraulic hood or other because they are a mile out fit-wise.
Looking for:

155867430B

If nobody got any spare anyone in Yorkshire lend me a pair so I can make a template?
Pic is of the panels I have - for sale if anyone's interested.

Here I go on another rabbit hole of Mk1 Cabrio discovery…

The panels I have do seem to fit the hydraulic hood cabrio at the rear of the hydraulic rams and at the moment unsure how to get them in without removing the rams (and the hood mechanism..).
On the Rivage there appear to be mounting brackets/holes for panels either side which sit at the vertical edge of the boot floor piece and cover the hydraulic mechanisms and relays etc.
My panels have a hole for the boot light, the wiring for the boot light on the Rivage isn't long enough to reach the rear side panels and it would appear that the light should be in a panel at the front of the hydraulic mechanism as above.
ETKA shows a panel which looks the same as mine:

And lists different parts for manual and hydraulic hoods:

Do these hydraulic mechanism covering panels exist and anyone got these panels fitted and can take me a picture?
If not what are these mounting points for?

Thanks, Chris.

And the inner panels were a thing…

Are there any still actually existing in the wild? Would like to remake both sets in 3mm matte black foamex if I can get a template from some originals of these..

The last picture of the two cards above were from a set I had. Gone a few years now. They were correct for your rivage. Both were fitted to my sportline many moons ago.

Cheers Hugh.
