Unfortunately I had to sell my mk1 caddy and ive been hankering after another mk1 so here I am gunna take my time on this one build one from scratch.  I had a vti a few years back but it was a mess so gunna chill get the right one. I own a mk6 as adaily at the moment but I have had every version of the golf over the years. Sand being a mechanic I will be of some use on the forums. I did the simple 119td comversion on the caddy. So cant wait to get into the heart of this club and meet up with you guys soon

Welcome back Speedy

Glad you found us again. Is it a caddy your looking for again or a tintop/cabby?

Appologies for the spelling/ grammar mistakes. Just read my post mobile typing is . And to answer the question. Im going to do a tintop this time. Reason I had to sell the caddy was I have a son now and with the wife and a childseat we wont all fit in the  caddy. Sad times. Miss the scene.

No need to apologise, we all do it!

That makes sense but a tintop is a good choice too. Hopefully all the family can get in to the scene with you and you can get your son in to VW's too

Are you going for a project car or something MOT'd and running/sorted?

Fair dos, there's a few shell's and projects about for sale at the moment so you shouldn't struggle to find something I guess
