Hi from Sunny Sheffield

Just a quick message to say Hi i,m Dave from Sheffield, i,ve just bought another Mk1 Golf Cabbie and will hopefully be taking it to a few meets and shows next year

Not sure what plans i have for it yet as i have a vehicle Bodyshop and not sure whether to strip it and fully repaint it or just enjoy it as it is,i,m not a newbie to the show seen as i've done up quite a few mx5's over the years for myself and customers a lot of them making magazine features,i've still got my own show car that will be doing quite a few shows with next year,but always loved the mk1 golf ever since i did my apprenticship at Gilders years ago

Anyhow i will hopefully meet a few of you along the way

Cheers for the pics, looks a tidy cabby that Looks like it's been repainted in a darker cream than the standard white?

It's a nice colour  

Cheers, it was originally Alpine White but like you said its been repainted in a cream,its growing on me a bit more now,and after a good flat and polish it should look a lot cleaner
