im new

Hi all im new here and have just bought a 1.5 gl cabriolet which im trying to quikcly get an mot to drive it to le mans! Its not going well. Finding parts of people with a clue is being difficult!

As it currently stands. Starting to pull my hair out. 

Well it looks like it's getting back together, what's making you pull your hair out?

It's very slowly coming along. The dash is only out to flock it and sort out what appears to be the biggest of wiring loom gremlins! 
Which is exactly what I'm struggling with. 
The starter sounds slow to turn over despite trying several batteries.
I've tried loOking online for a list of which coloured wires do what but no luck yet! 

Make sure all your + and - connections are good each ends of the batter cables, on the starter etc. It sounds like it could be the starter itself.

Id be happy if it was just the starter haha. Haver just searched and found a list of wires and fuses etc on here so im going to go and wrestle with my girlfriends printer (whilst she is trimming my interior) and get this thing sorted! Gagging to drive it!
