I'm looking to buy one.

I recently bought a mk2 16v for my son and nephew but want a mk1 again for myself.

It's difficult to find a reasonably clean example.

Good choice on the MK2, I bought a 16v last summer - I'd always fancied one but never even driven one before - it's a great car.

What Mk1 are you looking for? tinop/cabby, GTI, modded?

Whereabouts in the UK are you? We have some good, active regions which hopefully you can join in with  :thumbs:

Well my last one was a 20vt, but that was some years ago.

Ideally after a reasonably clean tintop, campaign, pref white.

Mk1 2l TSR G60.  .getting. There twice as fast

Mk1 lhd diesel…….getting. There for half the cost

I've seen both the white ones…a bit out of my budget at the moment. I don't really want spend more than £4k…unless it's really special :)

Put a bid on the high-miler of £4k, It's been on and off sale for a while, you never know!
