Newbie from Mexico

How about friends, I stand on the other side of the Atlantic, from Mexico.
I am an engineering student, who like a lot of cars, the proof is that here in Mexico to others of being a student I am working auto mechanic, I have a small workshop in a place called Tamazunchale, is a small town located in the center of the country.

I own a VW Golf MK1 1985 (in Mexico was called VW Caribbean and were manufactured until 1987), are some things mechanical, but nothing automotive restorations, and with this car I'm learning a bit of this very beautiful craft to many of us.

I am in the process of restoring my Golf and slowly hang pictures on here to share with you.

Something very particles is that in Mexico the MK1 came with square headlights from 1981 and not with round headlights as the European version. Will share anecdotes and technical knowledge of these cars, so soon thanks to the group and I hope to be very active member and meet UK in the near future and why not, cross it in a VW Golf MK1 English. Thank you.
