South Coast Newbie

Hello Guys,

I'm a newbie from Brighton on the South Coast.

I recently purchased myself a 1989 Mk1 Caddy (shall post photos tomorrow), and looking to make friends within the VW family.

Heard this is the best place to join for VW Owners! Oh, and I thought it would be rude not to become a paid member! How is everyone?

I certainly plan to come along on 5th April, I only live 10 minutes away in Patcham.

I'll let you know when to get the kettle ready, would be great to have a peek at your cars. I've got a lot of passion for VW's, but lacking in knowledge. This will certainly be a learning curve!

It's a 1.6 Diesel, but I do have plans to possibly stick something a little more fun in there at some point

Well I come from your part of the World the I.O.W originally.
I hoping to drive mine over this summer for my Daughters Wedding in Bournemouth and spend a day or two at the AGM after.  
I'll be staying at the South Winchester Lodges in Hampshire.
So if you see some crazy bloke in a white Cabrio LHD with the reg no. GF-MK1 for sure that will be me Jay!

I'm in Worthing and always going to shows and meets.. The Berkshire lads on here are always doing something so look out for them.. Hope to see you on the 5th of April
