Quick introduction

Hi, I'm Jelle, originally from the Netherlands but living in Swansea nowadays, proud owner of a '77 mk1 1100cc in Panama Brown. Except for the lowered suspension everything on the car is still original including roof, carpets, seats, engine and even paint,  It's in a good overall state but will soon need some restoration done as I hope to get it back in the state it was when it was made. It's treated me very well over the past 2 years that I've had it, but as it was my weekend ride I haven't been able to enjoy it as much as I had liked to. It's originally Dutch and left hand drive, still has the original paperwork and plates from '77 and I intend to keep it that way, for some reason I value it very much. When I moved to the UK last year I drove it down myself which was the most pleasant 16 hour straight drive I've ever had, and even though the ignition was fried by the time i got it home it made it all the way down.
I intend to visit as many meets as I can over summer of 2014 so I hope to see some of you there!
