Newbie saying hello

Just saying hi, new to mk1s but not dubs 
have 3mk2's and now recently a 1980 small tail light mk1 3dr for restoration which really was a barn find, 23yrs without daylight lol

Well what can I say, I've been involved with dubs for a long time my original car is a Helios 89mk2 valver and I've had her since she was 3yrs old..
Anyways here's a couple of pics of when 1st opened barn hope u all enjoy!!

Meant to add the car is a little 1.1 but has had a 1.3 with webber fitted at some point but also has the original engine sitting.
The storm is a79 and original down to the metal dealer plates, they certainly took a bit of digging out lol

Looks like a real treasure trove in there. 
What about the Scirocco?  

The scirocco was a very happy find😊😊 it needs a full restoration but is pretty much all there but as with the mk1 I'm sure I'll be looking for parts on here and the rocco owners site, there are loads of parts aswell, the likes of mk1 jetta headlights/boot/ mk1 parcel shelfs doors trims and that's only what I could see at a glance so it will take a bit of sorting lol 
But hopefully I will get some bits on here shortly!!!

Yeah very pleased there is four cars all together 2 mk1s and 2 sciroccos, and yes a proper barn find 😁
