Newbie Mk1 Golf GL

Hi, I just bought my first Mk1 and its also my first car (I'm only 16), It's a Mk1 Golf GL 1.5.







Over the next few months up until I can drive I am going to hopefully be doing a few things to it.
First I want to lower it so can anyone recommend any coilovers that are reasonable priced (about £300)

Also, have you checked insurance? It might be worth doing before you put it on coilovers as ytou have to declare mods which will bump your premium up.
