Newbie, kind of

Hi,
Been a member for a good few years now, but just noticed I haven't posted anything. So here goes.Got a mk1 gti, that's not on the road at the minute, and should be picking up another one within the next week or two, which prob needs a resto.

But seriously, we love seeing new members and there cars, so if the new addition is going for a full restoration, then please post up a build thread!

Do get some pics up and let us know what your plans are for the car.

The one I have at the minute is stuck in the garage with stuff all around it. Was on the road when I got it, so pretty solid I think, just needs tidying up.
The new one is black also, with no sunroof, needs panels, welding etc, pretty much a resto, but getting at reasonable price
If it ends up too much work at least I have spares
No photos I'm afraid yet, but when new one comes I maybe able to get photos of that.

At least you thought long and hard before making your first post!
