Welcome, and good luck with your search. Are you looking solely for a 1.6gti or are other engine options in the frame too?

Hi Mark,

Have you registered in the North West section? We've just had our monthly meet last Thursday in Standish.

There'll be another in due course but in the meantime, why not come to All Types with the club.
Get yourself 'promoted' to Paid Member status, it's only £20 and you get discounts, and you'll be on the stand providing there's room.

All Types is on Sunday 18/5/14 in North Wales. You could travel down with me if you like???

Cheers for the reply dan,i`ll look at joining and definitely look at getting to some meets.I was one of the starter members of the north west gtroc about 7
years ago and we used to go to the wiggin tree before it went all posh. :)

Ha!
That strange, when walt and I set up the NW meets in 2005 we chose the Wiggin Tree as our meet location too because of its central location.

I know what you mean when you say 'it's gone posh', we can't use it anymore can we??!!

don`t think you`ll have anything to worry about on that score…think it goes that if it`s a golf mk1, then it can go on the stand..i had the same worries at last years vw show at Tatton park and was told that condition of the car isn't an issue…it`s another mk1 golf that`s still going that counts

Car condition not important, being there IS!!

We still have a bit of room on the club stand at All Types.
