Newbie from Cheshire - well returning after a 5 year break

Evening all, hope your Mk1's are having a wonderful evening of being fettled with in this gorgeous weather?

Was here according to my tax disc 5 years ago, since then i've been in dry storage and as i was 30 earlier in the year, my owner, FordyX, decided that after 10 years of ownership i ought to be sold. Never really understood why as i'm not in the way. anyway, he rolled me out the garage looking in need of a decent wash as anyone would after 5 years. i got a wash and i caught a sly smile come over FordyX's face. he disapeared off in my adopted brother, the ever annoyingly efficient Bluemotion Scirocco and returned with a new Bosch battery, 'is that for me' i thought, and to my suprise it was. Once fitted FordyX climbed onboard and i fired up on the button. this moment had been 6 months in the making as for some reason i emptied my sump on the garage floor during the winter on 2010, so FordyX removed my sump in 2011 and never returned it until a month or so ago, don't know what the problem was but i don't leak like that now. so with some fresh oil and a new battery, FordyX set about putting even more polish and wax on me. Damn i look good i thought, but where are my boots? I thought. FordyX had swapped my 8x14 deep dish Brocks for some stupid wheels for the family T4, they didn't fit! what do you young 'ens say now LOL, serves him right :-). Anyway, to my surprise, a week later FordyX came home with a set of Ronal Turbos, i've always thought i'd look good on them, so after a little twisting of my front legs and som new skinny rubber i was in my element. another week later we go off to see a garage full of TVR's where Ian, FordyX's mate pokes the hell out of me, adjusts my eyes and sends us on the way with another bit of paper. we go directly to town and for my good behaviour i'm rewarded with a new tax disc. this must mean i'm not getting sold…… Yipppeee, hope to see you all in Uttoxeter in a few weeks. p.s. as soon as FordyX works out to use a camera, yuou can all see me. p.p.s, i'm an '83 Campaign in Helios blue, lightly modded with chrome, coilovers and an engine rebuild 5 years ago to be a little bigger at 1900 with a race cam and a few mk2 bits and pieces :
