I'm currently a final year apprentice for Rolls-Royce and looking to gather some information into buying my first MK1.

Thanks for the information! ill be hitting them up soon, got a budget of £3.5k-4k to spend on a MK1 so hopefully will find something in the near future I can bring along.

Hi!  You should get a decent mk1 for that.  If not at least you work in the right place for a quality resto  

I'm hopeful I'll find one soon, but I am getting drawn towards a summer project now….

Be handy if I wanted to strap a turbine engine into her (BMW own Rolls-Royce Motors. I'm part of Rolls-Royce PLC Jet engines and power systems )

Hey Scott,

Sorry I cant make this meet Next one I will be up for, with a stroke of luck hope I would of found a Golf.

I'm after a MK1 GTI 3DR Tin Top , but I am open to pretty much any model if its all up and together (driver,citi…etc etc).

I am also looking at Volksfest as a few friends are going and staying the weekend so may have to join them and have a poke around.
