New Mk1 owner from the SW

Thought I would introduce myself. So far I have 2 polo gti 6N2's. One daily and one 20V turbo race car project which is still in early stages.

However I have now bought this little Mk1. Names Matt and I live in Yealmpton nr Plymouth

Thanks for the welcome guys. It has had a lot done to it and not sure if I will change much. i have a USRT shifter kit going in it today but this is the current spec:

TSR 1.9 engine fully lightened and balanced (approx 150 BHP) done around 90k miles
C Pack head
202 high lift cam
Audi 2.2 larger throttle body
Power ROHR pipe
Super sprint 4 branch exhaust manifold
Mild steel straight through centre pipe
Super sprint backbox
Polished rocker cover, battery tray cover & radiator cover
Top & bottom strut braces
Fully poly bushed
Bottom ball joint spacers and comp sport spherical track rod ends fitted, these are under-slung which greatly corrects the steering geometry
Quaife quick rack fitted

TSR 280mm big brake conversion
EBC green stuff pads
Braided brake lines all round
Standard drums on rear
Flushed tailgate and rear wiper removed
Towing eyes removed and smoothed
