New member from North Wales

Hi everyone, only just joined but have had my mk1 for a while. Must say this looks like a very well run forum and looking forward to contributing.

So tell us more about your MK1. I'm guessing from our avatar pic that it may have a VR6 under the bonnet?! lol

No brainer paying the membership in my eyes!

Well where to start, the mk1 is currently a rolling shell and is just about to go for a full respray! I've been collecting parts for it for over a year now in preparation for the rebuild. I've got a 3.0 vr6 block ti drop in with forged internals once I rebuild it and keeping it n/a and will be running it on gsxr 1000 throttle bodies and megasquirt. I'm really hoping to have the car up and running by the AGM!!!!

That sounds a great spec! What colour are you going for?

I'm not sure yet, I'm quite tempted to keep it red. Will be setting up a project thread on here.

Welcome along. There are a few members close to you in Merseyside and The Wirral for a meet at some point if you fancy that?
