If you're interested in a local meet, check out Fendubbers. Have a meet on the last friday of every month, and the last one was massive. A good 50 VWs of all types, and a handful of mk1s, shame it was so cold :cry:

I personally like the pink, mine was almost that colour before i sroted the paint out too

Takes place at the carpark outside Habitat on Newmarket Road in Cambridge.

Seems youve caused quite a stir with the Pink cabrio.
Im not too far from you, I live in Sutton and drive a white cabrio, (only in summer) if you see me be sure to wave, I'm sure I will see you at a fendubbers meet too. Ive never been yet either but when I spot you I will come over and say hello.

Thats a cool mk1 might not be to everyones tastes, but i like it, its different and thats cool by me!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: everyone else is just scared of pink, nothing wrong with a bit of pink
Mrslawsy would have a cadbury's purple car if she could… Maybe in time

Nah they're not rare, there just aren't many at the Fendubbers meets, just mine and another bloke, also called Mat, who is selling his at the minute.
I think there are probably only 6 or 7 mk1s in total but they're rarely all at the meet at once
