mk1 20vt project

Can anyone help me please.
i have a mk1 cab 20vt. i have just got a mk4 20vt for spares. I am going to remove the engine and box and play about with it ( bigger turbo, injectors, forge pistons etc)and then replace the 20vt that is already in the mk1.
I would like to know what bits from the mk4 i can use on the mk1 eg suspension, brakes, seats and whats the easiest way to fit them. Can i use the hydro clutch system as im thinking of using the box or is it easier/possible to convert the box the cable?
I also have a mk1 cabrio 1.8 auto which i want to take the wiring loom out of as the one in my car has been hacked into quite a lot and i think its gonna be quicker to fit a new loom rather than sort the old one out. Can anyone tell me is the wiring loom is the same for all mk1 cabrios or are the gti's, cl's etc different?
Any help would be great!!! Im pretty clueless when it comes to thing like that
I want to remove everything off the mk4 that i can use on the mk1 so i can break it and scrap it. (i need the space asap)
