There might be a small gap between the top of the window and the roof seal.  You can adjust the sitting angle and height of the window behind the door card.

awww cheers. it was a good one! you will be pleased to hear i got my brakes sorted out….although not before my long journey  ops:   the mechanics next door to my work told me it wasnt worth working on cos there was too much wrong with it…they told me to take it back to the guy i bought it from! fat chance! so i toddled off to my mums with a face like a slapped arse and discovered a wicked mechanic who lives 2 mins away from my mum. charged me ?90 labour and he had it for a day and a half, let me buy all my own parts on trade thru work, and did loads of extra's. spent about ?200 all in all, cos had to get some parts off vw, and now it stops!!!! and the engine doesnt wobble!!!        welllllll happy. btw, wheres the best place to get a cam belt cover from??

E bay or try crazyquiff who is on this site usually has a link on the homepage of this if not go into search and type in crazyquiff as an author and it will find him, top guy for bits.

Hope you slapped the guy at the first garage  sounds like a right one, either that or he didnt know how to work on a mk1, obviously dosen't understand the love for mk1's.

yea except i cant work out how to make that bloomin pic look good. it seems really poor quality and im not very good with computers to know what to do…..and im not enjoying the weather cos im stuck inside doing my dissertation  :cry:   i actually hate uni sooo much

I would hate uni too  :doh:  it talks of being 70 degrees ish at stansted on saturday, roof down and off we go, hope me mate wraps up well we are leaving at about 7am
