First post since joining in 2009 lol

Just looked at my profile and apparently I joined in 2009 and this is my first post pretty much lol! Anyway it's taken about that long to get my golf on the road so here it is.
Anybody in Cornwall fancy a drive out gimmie a shout aswell!

Looking good, did you do all the work on it?

1988 Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet 1.8cc DX, K-jet. Daily drive. 317,000 miles and counting
1978 Mk1 Scirocco GLS 1.6cc FR, Webber carb. Weekend toy.

Thanks! No sadly not, me and a friend started it off but soon came apparent that we weren't up to the task. So had to get some help, after all the niggles we've had building it, glad it was taken out of our hands!

Amazing work.

Very nice.

But here in France , we're not allowed to change the engine for more powered one ,

In case of accident , it can cause many problems , no insurance for example……………

LIGHTER IS  FASTER !!!
