Hello! MK1 Caddy owner

Hi everyone, I'm Shaun! I'm 20 and I live in Bedford.
I am currently restoring my MK1 Caddy and this forum was reccomended to me for 'how-to's' and parts for sale, so I joined.

Here is a picture of my Caddy from before I ripped it to bits to start again

Welcome aboard Shaun, and you had a very nice caddy to begin with! I soooo want a caddy but my mrs won't let me, she keeps telling me to get something newer, cheaper to run and more reliable! And I keep answering that a Turbo Diesel caddy makes much more sense. Don't think i'm winning but i'll keep on at her :mrgreen:

Thanks a lot . It was almost due for MOT, and i've become a student again so I thought I'd SORN it and do some tidying, but it has accidentally turned into a full respray and ABF conversion :twisted:. I'll start a thread sometime
Keep on the case at your Mrs, they are the ultimate vehicle . TDi Caddy's are awsome, but I'm a petrol lover

Wow this has been a while!

Quick update (and totally different to original plans!)

I will be continuing the building of my 1.8T engine tomorrow morning :]. The engine bay is in primer and I will soon be spraying that up ready to chuck the new lump in!

I need to source a standalone management system to run the 1.8T, if anyone has one for sale message me :].

Long time no hear Shaun. Got any recent pics of the ongoing engine conversion?
