Campaign VIN?

Forgive me, but even after reading all the campaign identification info on the site, I'm still not sure if this Vin is the genuine article.
It's an A.reg GTI with all the right spec……….green glass, leather wheel, fogs in grill, sunroof, P wheels & E in the VIN,
WVWZZZ17EW045797 but the "campaign checks" section indicates the numbers should be above 448319 ???
Any help would be appreciated

The only reference to this number concerns DW chassis numbers.
Providing your log book states "golf gti" then all is well.
"DW chassis cars are illegible for membership providing they exhibit most of the remaining campaign features and have a chassis number higher than 448319"
Do it once and do it right! ok, we've identified the problem, lets not make it worse by guessing……… Identifying the sympton is not the same as understanding the cause

It's a car I'm thinking of buying & being new to this, I'm probably being a bit overcautious. If it works out I'll join as a paid member & post some details.
