Belated Hello!

Hello all, my name's Jordan, I'm 18 and I live in Norwich.

I'll be on the lookout for a 3 door mk1 tintop (sunroofless) at some point in the near future. I've owned a mk2 in the past, however troubles with the infamous pierburg carb and my unemployment at the time meant that I had to sell, and now, 9 months down the line, I'm rather missing the VW in my life! I've always admired mk1's and I have plenty of ideas in my head for what I want to do should I get a hold of one, hopefully it won't be too difficult.

I want to learn to weld during the project, and do as much of the work as possible by myself, so there will be countless questions coming your way when I eventually get to fitting an abf!

In the meantime, if anyone knows of any cheap 3 door tintops about, I'll bite your hand off!

Keep looking and don't just buy the first one you see. Take your time and the right one will come up

If you see one and are unsure take some pics and post them here with a description and price. I'm sure you'll get peoples thoughts on it.
